Noticing Agent
In large Chapter 11 cases, the court often looks to outsource its
noticing to creditors to relieve the Court and the Clerk's Office of this burden.
OMNI has acted as a court-appointed Noticing Agent for numerous Chapter 11 cases.
Certifications and affidavits for court filings are produced with each mailing.
In addition, each notice to each unique creditor is assigned an identifier to ensure
traceability and management of address changes and return mail. Our Noticing Team
ensures the appropriate preparation of the many types of notices necessary in a
Chapter 11 case, including but not limited to:
- Notice of Claims Bar Date.
- Disclosure Statement and Plan of Reorganization.
- Notices to equity security and bondholders.
