Welcome Creditors

On May 28, 2012 (the "Petition Date"), Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP (the "Debtor") filed a voluntary petition in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York (the "Bankruptcy Court") seeking relief under the provisions of Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (the "Bankruptcy Code").  The Debtor is represented by Togut, Segal & Segal LLP. The Debtor continues to operate its business and manage its property as a debtor-in-possession.

On May 31, 2012, the United States Trustee appointed the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (the "Committee") in the Debtor's bankruptcy case pursuant to Section 1102 of the Bankruptcy Code. The Committee consists of three members: HireCounsel, Inta Boro Acres Inc., and Fidelity National Capital, Inc.. The Committee has selected the Brown Rudnick LLP law firm as its counsel. Edward S. Weisfelner is the principal attorney responsible for this engagement. 

On May 31, 2012, the United States Trustee appointed the Official Committee of Former Partners (the "Committee") in the Debtor's bankruptcy case pursuant to Section 1102 of the Bankruptcy Code. The Committee consists of four members: David Bicks, Cameron F. MacRae, John S. Kinzey, and John P. Campo. The Committee has selected the Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman, LLP law firm as its counsel. David M. Friedman is the principal attorney responsible for this engagement. This website was created to assist the Committees in providing information to creditors, as well as to solicit and receive comments from such creditors.
