Welcome Creditors

On May 30, 2012 (the "Petition Date"), B+H Ocean Carriers and nine of its subsidiaries (the "Debtors"), and on June 1, 2012, Seasak OBO Holdings filed voluntary petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York (the "Bankruptcy Court") seeking relief under the provisions of Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code (the "Bankruptcy Code"). The Debtors are represented by Stevens & Lee, PC. The Debtors continue to operate their businesses and manage their properties as debtors-in-possession. This website was created to assist the Debtors in providing access to information for creditors, as well as to solicit and receive comments from such creditors.

On June 14, 2012, the United States Trustee appointed the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors (the "Committee") in the Debtors' bankruptcy case pursuant to Section 1102 of the Bankruptcy Code. The Committee consists of five members: Norsk Tillitsmann ASA, Kristensons-Petroleum, Inc., AB International Marine Services Co., Airserve Marine Travel Pte Ltd., and S.S.G. Shipping Services BV. The Committee has selected the Kelley Drye & Warren LLP law firm as its counsel.
